The ashtray "Ashed Violence" is juxtaposed with the 7th circle of hell "Violence", 3rd Ring: Against God, Art and Nature. Gluttons are hunched over in quicksand with the firestone raining on their backs. The ash of a cigarette and its tail are falling on the marble bodies of the martyrs, piercing their bodies. The process continues endlessly in a loop.
With deep respect for all beliefs, this collection draws exclusively from the rich narrative of Dante Alighieri’s timeless masterpiece.
Details
The ashtray "Ashed Violence" is made entirely of marble in the destructive shape of the "Celestial" logo, a symbiosis of the crescent moon and the sun, and in the centre of this alliance is a simplified to a minimum map of the world, fully based on Dante’s ideas.
